Grand Lodge of Iowa authorizes STL Masons as preferred supply vendor.

The Grand Lodge of Iowa A.F. & A.M. has authorized STL Masons Supply Co. as a preferred supply vendor for lodges under its jurisdiction. Iowa becomes the third Grand Lodge (after Missouri and Illinois) to hold a direct supplier authorization with us.

The practical effect: Iowa lodges can now order directly with us and pass proper Grand Lodge documentation without going through cross-jurisdiction paperwork. Previously Iowa orders required additional documentation from the Grand Lodge Secretary before we could supply Grand Lodge-restricted items (ritual books, degree-specific regalia). That step is now removed.

Iowa has 78 constituent lodges under approximately 13,000 members. Some of our largest Iowa accounts are Cedar Rapids and Des Moines lodges, which have been ordering through us since 2015 under our previous informal supplier arrangement. Formalizing the relationship makes ordering easier for those lodges and opens direct account access to Iowa lodges we have not yet served.

We are grateful to R.W. Bro. [name withheld pending public announcement], Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge of Iowa, for extending this authorization. The paperwork took roughly six months of back-and-forth (which is standard for Grand Lodge supplier authorizations, unhurried by design).
